LiveMARYLAND: October Homeownership Checklist
Fall is in full swing, but before breaking out your Halloween decorations, it's important to button down your house (inside and out) in preparation for winter.
This is your friendly reminder to have all of your heating systems serviced before the winter months! You don’t want your heater stalling out in the middle of winter — or worse, during the holidays.? It's always a good idea to get on a service plan for semi-annual checkups to keep your HVAC running smoothly, improve your energy efficiency, and extend its useful life. And never, ever skip a chimney cleaning and inspection before putting it to cozy use.
Here it is - your monthly homeowner checklist.
Schedule HVAC Service and Chimney Cleaning
Change Direction of Ceiling Fans
Rake Leaves and Dispose of Old Mulch/ Trim Plants and Shrubs
Replace Old Weatherstripping Around Doors And Windows

Stock Up On Your Favorite Fall Candles
Save this post for later and pick 1 or 2 off the list every weekend! What are you tackling first?
Happy Homeownership!
