 January Homeownership Checklist

January is a time for new beginnings — and your home wants a fresh start as much as you do!

In order to prepare your home for a successful year, we've put together some home maintenance tasks for you to tackle this month. Don’t forget to bookmark this post for the upcoming weekend so that you can check off these tasks, keep your home healthy, and start the year off on the right foot!

Here it is - your monthly homeowner checklist.

  • Change Refrigerator Water Filter

  • Store Holiday Decor In Labeled Bins

  • Clean Bathroom Tub and Sink Drains (Pour Baking Soda & Vinegar)

  • Check Basement For Leaks During Thaws

  • Clean Out & Organize Closets

  • Replace HVAC Filter (Every Month!)

  • Clean Out Kitchen Cabinets

  • Flip Mattresses

Save this post for later and pick 1 or 2 off the list every weekend! What are you tackling first?

Happy Homeownership!
