LiveMARYLAND November Homeownership Checklist
It's officially the season of gratitude, good food, and your November Homeowner Checklist!
Now is the perfect time to inspect your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Start the holidays knowing that your family, guests, and home are safe! Friendly reminder: Smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years, so if you are unsure how old they are (or if they have removable batteries), it's probably time to replace them! Technology has come a long way, so pick up a few that have a 10-year sealed battery so you never have to deal with the battery replacement beeping again!
Here it is - your monthly homeowner checklist.
• Drain & Store Hoses
• Shut Off & Winterize Hose Bibs
• Check Smoke Detectors & Replace Batteries
• Clean & Put Away Patio Furniture
• Clean Out Gutters
• Trim Shrubbery
• Invest In A Humidifier
• Replace Welcome Mat
Save this post for later and pick 1 or 2 off the list every weekend! What are you tackling first?
Happy Homeownership!
